The project

Glow More sells dermatologist-loved skincare sourced from authorised distributors. Most shoppers arrive on phones, often on mobile data, so speed was the priority from the start.

The storefront is built in Next.js and talks to a Go backend. The result scores 100 on desktop Lighthouse and in the 90s on mobile, with perfect accessibility, best practices and SEO.

What I built

  • Next.js storefront backed by a Go API
  • Shop by brand and by category: cleansers, serums, moisturisers and sunscreens
  • Product pages with details, pricing and add to bag
  • Bestsellers, routine builder and brand sections on the home page
  • Cash on delivery and free delivery messaging for shoppers in Bangladesh
  • Mobile-first layout tuned for fast loading on phones

Stack

  • Next.js
  • React
  • Go

Measured with Google PageSpeed Insights and Lighthouse in October 2026. The mobile test simulates a mid-range phone on slow 4G, so scores vary between runs.
